Town Hall Seattle presents Therese Huston: Sparking Better Decision-Making for Women

  • Great Hall 1119 8th Avenue Seattle, WA, 98101 United States (map)

Advice toward women (think: Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In) typically aims at greater success, but very little focuses on a skill that ensures such success—making the wisest, strongest decisions. In How Women Decide, Seattle University cognitive psychologist Therese Huston offers concrete decision-making advice and asks whether men and women make decisions differently. Is “women’s intuition” a real thing? Is it a woman’s prerogative to change her mind? She’ll use real science to tackle these stereotypes. Come for a lively evening of myth-busting and discover how women reach decisions in ways that are stronger than even they realize.
